Nick Massey-Chase

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1975, Nick Massey-Chase has gained an enormous amount of experience and knowledge in a wide range of law.  Nick was one of the founding partners of Brain Chase Coles and led the Family Law department for many years.

Throughout his career Nick has specialised in Family Law and was one of the first members of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Law Panel and a Resolution Accredited Specialist.  For the past 10 years he has also practised as a Collaborative Family Lawyer promoting the benefits of an amicable and constructive way of resolving family problems by discussion round the table.  Nick has been an active member of Resolution and is a staunch believer in the importance of access to justice and legal advice for all, irrespective of personal or financial circumstances.

Although from October 2018 Nick has retired from full-time client work he continues to assist his colleagues where necessary and his expertise remains a huge asset to the firm.

Nick continues as a full Partner of the firm and is, in particular, responsible for the financial management of the practice.  Nick also handles any complaints which are, thankfully, few and far between.
