Elizabeth practises in all areas of family law and advises clients throughout negotiations and court proceedings with skill and empathy.
Elizabeth was appointed as a partner in 2015 and in the same year, trained as a family mediator. Having completed her training contract with the firm, Elizabeth had qualified as a solicitor specialising in family law in 2010.
With wide ranging expertise, Elizabeth is well placed to advise in relation to divorce and separation issues, financial matters, arrangements for children and pre-nuptial agreements. Additionally, Elizabeth offers legally aided advice, subject to eligibility, and represents parents of children about whom the Local Authority has concerns, on a regular basis.
As an active member of Resolution, Elizabeth promotes their Code of Practice in all of her work and upholds the principle that a non-confrontational approach is central to reaching successful outcomes for clients and their families. Elizabeth is an active member of the Hampshire Resolution committee, providing training and social support to family solicitors in the county. From 2013-17, Elizabeth chaired Hampshire Young Resolution, encouraging other solicitors in the early stages of their own careers and championing the work of Resolution throughout Hampshire.
