Ann is a family lawyer and during a career of more than 30 years, she has acquired a vast experience of dealing with all aspects of family cases.
Ann’s main area of work is in resolving the financial arrangements following a separation, divorce or dissolution of a civil partnership but she also advises clients about the arrangements for their children and about the benefits of nuptial agreements.
As a member of Resolution, Ann is committed to upholding the central aim of resolving disputes in a family centred and non-confrontational way. Ann increasingly uses the alternative methods of dispute resolution to help her clients reach solutions that best suit themselves, their family and especially their children.
Ann’s advice is clear and honest to help her clients make realistic choices and understand all of their options. Where there is no alternative, she supports and advises clients throughout court proceedings aiming wherever possible to use her skills to avoid lengthy and expensive cases.
Ann has been trained as a Collaborative Law practitioner by Resolution and believes that this alternative option for resolving family difficulties ‘round the table’ is a valuable alternative to court proceedings.
Ann is a trained family mediator and has been accredited by the Law Society and registered with the Family Mediation Council. This means that she is able to offer Mediation, Information and Assessment meetings as well as legally aided mediation.
