Making a Will is important at any age, whether you have just purchased your first property, have just become a parent, are about to marry or contemplating divorce, are considering retiring from your business or simply want to ensure that your chosen charities will benefit from some or all of your estate after your death.
We will prepare a Will tailored to you, with reference to the relevant legislation, drafted in a way that is legally valid and covers as wide a range of future changes of circumstances as is reasonably possible. We will raise points that you might not otherwise have considered and work with you to achieve what you want for your beneficiaries, whoever they may be.
We recognise that everyone’s circumstances are unique and whether you are a husband and wife wanting straightforward wills, dealing with the issues arising from second marriages, a single parent with guardianship concerns, an individual requiring complex inheritance tax advice or trying to work out how to provide for the needs of a family member suffering from a disability, our aim is that at the end of the process, you will understand and feel confident about the provisions that you have put in place.
Although our charges are competitive, we do not offer “cut-price” Wills because we believe that it is important to take time to understand your needs and the requirements of your family. The vast majority of our Wills are charged on a fixed fee basis, the fee being fixed after our initial meeting. The charge covers that first meeting to discuss your situation, the drafting of a Will in accordance with your instructions, including a full letter of explanation, and usually a second meeting for you to sign the Will.
We offer a free will storage facility and will also register your Will with Certainty, the National Will Register.
