CAFCASS Co-parenting Course
This course is now available to parents involved in disputes over their children. The course is aimed at helping parents to see both the helpful and unhelpful behaviour they are engaging in and to understand the needs of their children. This is a one day course, run by two Relate counsellors and a court order is needed for CAFCASS to offer the course. This course can help parents to reach an arrangement for contact, reduce the number of court appearances and improve the wellbeing of the children involved. For those who are in receipt of Public Funding the course is free of charge and for others it costs £200 for each participant, unless they have an income below £40,000 and fulfil CAFCASS’s criteria to qualify for a hardship fund.
