Claims Against a Deceased's Estate
Unfortunately after someone has died, claims sometimes do arise against
the Estate.
It may be, for example, that a family member has not been included in a
Will and that they have a potential claim under the Inheritance (Provision
for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
There may also be challenges brought against a Will based on whether the
Deceased had the mental capacity to make the Will or was unduly influenced
by someone else in making the Will.
These complex claims require careful investigation which needs to take place
as soon as possible.
